Traditional Curandera’s Services
The Curanderismo Tradition of Mexico is the Ancient way of bringing the body, mind, emotions, and soul back into a state of balance. Customarily an elder Curandera(o) teaches the tradition in oral form. Ixtoii Paloma Cervantes is an elder, instructor or “Maestra” of the Curanderismo Tradition and also a full-time Curandera. She was born and raised in Mexico into the tradition. She started working full-time as a Curandera in 1986. Then 12 years later, in 1998, she moved to California where she kept her practice and started to teach Mexican Shamanism or Curanderismo and other spiritual modalities. Now not only she teachers in California but also in other states and countries.
Curanderismo is an Ancient Spiritual and Healing Tradition practiced in Mexico and in other parts of the world. It is not a religion, nor a cult. It is a way of living life in harmony and peace with everything that is around us. It is a way of respect, love, and compassion for everything: human beings, animals, plants and our beautiful planet. Curanderismo is about being connected with Grandfather Creator, or the Great Mystery or God, so we can be strong to face any problems and issues that come our way.
When you visit a Curandera
The first thing that she would do is to remove negative energy around and within you. This energy may be disrupting yourself or your life. It may come from your own thoughts and emotions like pessimism, depression, anxiety, sadness, stress, etc.; or it may come from your surroundings like being around negative people, or being in a difficult and unhappy situation. Or there may be some people that make an effort to do you wrong and this may be affecting you. People like a jealous coworker, a difficult family member, etc.
After the spiritual cleansing
You then will be ready to receive spiritual healing or another type of service or ceremony. The Curandera will focus on re-establishing and balancing the energy in your body and reconnecting you with your spiritual guides, angels, power animals, and protectors. All these will reflect on your body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
After a consultation
Among other things, you will feel peaceful, relaxed, and lighter. A sensation of well-being is going to be with you for many days or for a long time. This depends on you. On what you do after a ceremony and how well you take care of yourself.
Important notes about my services: because I work with spiritual energies that come directly from our Grandfather Creator, The Great Mystery, or God:
* I don’t practice anything that may harm somebody (humans, animals, plants, etc.).
* In order to work with me, if you have been diagnosed bipolar or schizophrenic you will need written permission from your doctor.
*I do not use any hallucinogenic plants, brews, ceremonial tobacco, recreational drugs, alcohol, cannabis, etc. in my practices. Please do not use these prior to or during my events. If you do so you will be asked to leave the event immediately and without a refund.
*Although in my events we don’t take anything that induces altered states of mind, I perform spiritual Ceremonies to help people recover from spiritual negative energies that sometimes are attached around a person when they do what is called Spiritual Plant Medicine like peyote, ayahuasca, San Pedro, etc.
*For any service, the payment needs to be in advance because, for me, your ceremony starts before you arrive. I take the time to spiritually prepare my healing room, my altar, and myself before you come. Once you pay, you will receive instructions on how to dress, and how to prepare yourself for a traditional Curanderismo Ceremony.
About my services and ceremonies
The fees for services and ceremonies depend on the type of service, how long it is and where it is provided. I provide services at IISC Center in Fresno, CA, when I travel or long distance. Also, I teach all these spiritual ceremonies to those that are on the Healing Path.
In most of our long-distance ceremonies,
it is required on your side to make a small ceremony to attune or vibrate at the same frequency as we do. This is for the purposes of working effectively as a team “You and Us”. Please do not commit to a service if you are not willing to put some effort on your part because there is no refund. After you pay for the ceremony or service you will receive an email with the list of things you have to do as preparation for the ceremony or service purchased. The ceremony requirements vary somewhat but generally, the requirements are simple and mostly the same for most of the works. For example: eat light, do not drink alcohol or take drugs, etc.

If you don’t know what service to choose I would recommend an “Energy Cleansing or Limpia Ceremony”. This is a traditional way to remove negative energies and emotions that we carry or a Curanderismo Diagnosis Ceremony which includes questions and answers and a Limpia Ceremony.

Individual Ceremonies performed by Mexican Curanderas

1. Energy Cleansing or “Limpia Ceremony”
It is an indigenous method of clearing the body, mind & spirit of negative energies to restore the body to its natural state of wholeness and wellness. If you don’t know what to choose and you just want to experience the Curanderismo way of healing the body, heart, emotions, mind, and soul, this would be a good choice.
2. Reestablishing Vital Energy Force or “Espejo de Obsidiana Ceremony”
When we feel disconnected, weak, distracted, or overwhelmed it may be an indicator that our Vital Energy Force is out of balance or even diminishing. In this Curanderismo Ceremony, the energy channels that provide us with strength are cleared, unblocked, realigned, and reinforced so we can go back to feeling strong.
3. Chakra alignment and energy balancing treatment or “La Alineacion”
After this treatment, you will have your Chakra system aligned and your energy channels clear and flowing in a balanced way.
4. Spiritual Healing Ceremony or “La Curacion”
This is a traditional Spiritual Healing Ceremony. The price depends on the length of the ceremony.
5. Spiritual Extraction Ceremony to remove negative energies or “La Extraccion”
In this ceremony, the negative intrusions, and energies are removed and a sealing and protection ceremony is performed. After the ceremony, you will receive instructions on what you are doing wrong in your life that is attracting negative energies or entities and how to avoid them. The price depends on what type of extraction is needed and for that, you need to contact us. Each case is different.
6. Curanderismo Counseling Ceremony or “La Platica”
We call this session Curanderismo Q&A. Sometimes we are “stuck” in our lives or our spiritual practices and we can’t find the solution to our problem in a book, online or with anybody that we know. We know that is just a simple “something” that is missing for us to recover our power or move forward but we are “stuck”. If this is your situation, this service is for you. If you have a question that doesn’t include any kind of training, complicated instructions, or spiritual services, this can be your option. This can be over the phone or in person.
7. Past Life Regression Ceremony
This is a deep Healing Ceremony to realign past, present, and future. During this ceremony, you will open your blockages and change them. You will be guided to change the information in your genetic memory. You can also find guidance to find your mission in life. This includes a 3-hour session plus a follow-up session. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a ceremony in which you participate to find out your information this is not a reading.
8. Full Moon Limpia
Full Moon Spiritual Cleansing Ceremony. For many people when the moon is getting close to being full or when it is full affects them creating many conflicts in the areas of communication, health, relationships, etc.
9. Soul Retrieval Ceremony or “Susto ó Recuperacion del Alma”
We believe that when something happens in our lives that may create any kind of trauma, like a divorce, loss of a loved one, loss of a job, moving to a new location, etc., we lose a piece of our soul. We are not the same as we used to be. In this traditional ceremony, the Curandera goes to the other world or reality to recover this piece of the soul and brings it back. It also releases the trauma if it is still stuck in the body.
10. Curanderismo Diagnosis Ceremony
This is a Traditional Curanderismo Ceremony in which a Curandera (Mexican Shaman) performs a small Limpia or Energy cleansing Ceremony followed up by a Curanderismo Spiritual Diagnosis Ceremony on the client and then travels in spirit to the other reality to identify the nature of a problem. In this ceremony, we can pinpoint where sickness or problem is coming from and then decide what action to take to go back to a balanced state of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
11. Fire Hands and/or Reiki Treatment
These are two modalities that complement each other. Reiki is a Japanese technique and Fire Hands is a Mexican technique. Both techniques help the body, emotions, mind, and soul heal faster by stimulating the immune system.
